Charlotte, NC (WBTV) -High school football season starts next Friday, August 17th and some fans are already looking ahead to some big time rivalries on the schedule like Charlotte Country Day at Charlotte Catholic Friday, August 31st.

They will play in the first ever Patriotism Bowl to benefit three organizations dedicated to veterans, active military, and their families complete with the first ever North Carolina high school game pre-game parachute jump and Navy flyover. Both teams will wear camouflaged jerseys.

They feel this game is the start of a new legacy.
