On Monday police arrested two people for the murder of a Charlotte man.
Detectives say 21-year old Christopher Cordero was shot and killed during a robbery in June on Wilora Lake Drive in east Charlotte.
Police say one of the suspects, 20-year old Jordan Poe, turned himself in Monday morning.
However the other man wanted for the killing, 19-year old Mark Grant, did not surrender so easily.
Police tell us they tracked Grant to an area near Albemarle Road and I-485 and the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team moved in to make the arrest.
But they say Grant ran away and hid in a field where an officer searching with an ATV accidentally ran into the suspect.
Police say Grant showed no signs of injury but was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
