Police are investigating a kidnapping in robbery in east Charlotte that left a man knocked unconscious at an apartment complex Sunday morning.
The incident was reported at 2:08 a.m. on the 2500 block at Dunlavin Way, according to the report from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
A 22-year-old man told police the he was outside an apartment building when he was physically assaulted, had a gun pointed at him adn eventually lost consciousness, according to the report.
He said he woke up behind an apartment.
Mecklenubrg Medic transported the man to Carolinas Medical Center with serious injuries.
