Accused rapist found dead

Hello again everyone, it's Paul Cameron in the WBTV newsroom.

Tonight at 5:00PM—how did a man accused of raping a young girl, wind up dead and covered in blood when police arrived?  That's the mystery in Chester, SC tonight.  Our reporter, Sharon Smith, is just back from the crime scene with new information about the relationship between the girl and the dead man.

We'll also check in with Steve Ohnesorge in Boone as the Watauga Sheriff's office prepares to bury one of the own—23-year old Deputy James Mast, Jr. was killed answered an open 911 call.  He will be laid to rest tomorrow.
