A better way to battle bullies

Posted: Updated:

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - As the start of a new school year approaches, some kids begin to think about, and perhaps worry about, a bully in their class.

A bully can get any young person fired up but one local woman says the best way to battle a bully is to ward them off non-violently.

Amy Kim, who manages US-K Martial Arts in Ballantyne, has some advice for non-physical, non-aggressive, non-combative ways to ward off bullies.

She talked about a free bully prevention seminar to Kristen and Ashley on WBTV News Saturday Morning.
