Tonight at 11:00PM—authorities seize nearly 200 cats from a pet hoarder. Our reporter Dedrick Russell says you could not go into the house without seeing feces on the walls and smelling the stench of ammonia. It was so strong; it burned the lungs with every breath.
This has been a summer of high heat and strong storms. Again tonight, powerful winds knocked down trees near the Westside of Lake Norman.
If you have a small business or church, better put a wire cage around your air conditioning units. Thieves are plying their trade in and around Charlotte again, stealing whole units to get the copper inside.
Beer and wine on a bike? A small business called Party Peddlers says it will soon start giving tours of Uptown Charlotte while peddling customers around in a portable bar. Right now, they're waiting to get a liquor license.
