Live: The dangers of enforcing the law

Good morning it's Christine Nelson. It's Friday, July 27. Here's a look at what's happening now. WBTV News This Morning is on from 4:30 a.m. - 7:00 a.m.

We learned so much about the Watauga County deputy who was shot and killed in the line of duty. We have emotional sound from those who knew Deputy William Mast. We also looked deeper into the dangers law enforcement faces trying to protect us everyday. Our Cam Man Ron Lee has is live with that angle of the story.

New overnight: A tragic accident in Charlotte when a woman's car overturned several times and she was killed. We have details on how the car lost control.

Plus another story that's really going to be neat to hear. We talk to a South Carolina woman who is reminiscing with us about competing in the 1932 Olympic Games!

See you on the air!

Christine
