Charlotte Knights lose opener against the SWB Yankees

FORT MILL, SC (WBTV) – The Charlotte Knights remain on top despite their 6-4 loss Tuesday night to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees.

The Knights struggled for the majority of the game trailing over half the game 5-0. They fought back with four runs in the bottom of the eighth but couldn't catch up to the Yankees.

The Knights will get their chance at redemption Wednesday evening for game 2 of the series.
