Carolina Panther tackle, Neblett, opens up about failing a drug test

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Panthers defensive tackle Andre Neblett was on the field today in Charlotte for pre-training camp practice. He is coming back from a shoulder injury.

Last week Neblett was suspended for failing the performance enhancement drug policy and today he revealed it was a dietary supplement to keep weight down.

He can practice with the team and play in preseason games but will miss the first four regular season games.

Neblett feels like he let a lot of people down, "I am costing a team that could potentially make it to the playoffs, and I could be a guy that could help."

Neblett says it's going to take some work getting back after sitting out four games, "Someone can step up and take that spot just like I did so its going to be some work getting back".
