Las Vegas, Nevada (WBTV) -The Charlotte Bobcats wrapped up summer league play Friday in Las Vegas with a 97-79 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.
Bobcats Head Coach was not in attendance because he was being inducted into the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Hall of Fame in Colorado.
Point guard Kemba Walker led the way for the Bobcats with 16 points, while big man Byron Mullens added eight and Corey Higgins put in 15 but it was not enough.
This year's draft picks Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Jeffrey Taylor did not play.
Despit the loss, the Bobcats had a very successful summer league finishing 4-1.
