CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Some of Charlotte's sharpest minds are going to have one intense weekend.
Designers and engineers at Enventys and Edison Nation are working together to create a foosball table unlike any other you've likely ever seen.
They're participating in a contest sponsored by Red Bull, the energy drink, to design the "game of games" in 72 hours.
The team learned what their challenge would be on Thursday night at 9pm and they must be finished with design and production by Sunday night at 9pm.
"To make this the game of games we're incorporating weather into our foosball table. We'll have rain, wind, lightning is some way and even fog," said senior engineer Mike Starkey.
In all there are 12 teams participating. The teams design process can be watched via live stream here and the public can help vote on the winning team beginning on Wednesday.
