ROCK HILL, SC (WBTV) -
Deputies in York County are investigating a shooting overnight Wednesday at an apartment complex in Rock Hill.
The incident was reported around 9:30 p.m. at the Willow Glen Apartments on Garden Way, according to a spokesman with the York County Sheriff's Office.
A woman arrived home at her apartment to find her ex-boyfriend waiting for her.
During the course of events which is still unclear to investigators, the man was shot, deputies say.
Deputies have not released the names of those involved.
Russell Lamont Whitlock, 33, is charged with burglary because he was in the woman's apartment when she arrived home.
She has not been charged.
