Low turnout in tonight's primary runoff election

Hello again friends, it's Paul Cameron in the WBTV newsroom.

Tonight at 11:00PM—low turnout in tonight's primary runoff election—early estimates are less than 3% of registered NC voters bothered to exercise their constitutional rights.  We're watching all the results and it appears the race for Sue Myrick's US House seat between Robert Pittenger and Jim Pendergraph is tight and going down to the wire.  Join us for our election night coverage.

Do police have the Presbyterian parking deck robber in custody?  An armed man stole a woman's purse today.  He was arrested after a chase, and now comes the question—is he the same man who stabbed a nurse for her purse and robbed another hospital worker last month?  Also, is he the same who robbed two students at the nearby CPCC parking decks in May?  We're digging for answers.

A bizarre story from Utah—a man wanted for murder tried to steal a SkyWest passenger jet.  He started the engines, began to taxi, then clipped the airport terminal and crashed into several vehicles before shooting and killing himself.
