CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - If you were up early this morning, you may have noticed some bright spots in the sky around the moon. What you were seeing was two planets shining bright in the early morning sky.
It was Venus and Jupiter that lined up with the moon which many of us were able to see thanks to clearer skies. The show was most visible between 4:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m.
Another celestial event you may be interested in is the upcoming Southern Delta Aquarids Meteor Shower. The shower peaks on July 28 & 29, but will be visible beginning on the 18th.
