The Sheriff's Office in Cleveland County is investigating a deadly domestic incident.
A deputy responded to a call at a home on Main Street in Grover late Saturday night. Before the deputy could reach that home, he found the man and woman in the street, arguing. As the deputy arrived, he saw the man shoot the woman with a shotgun. The deputy fired at the man, who took off in a pickup truck.
Deputies chased the man until he returned to the place where he shot the woman, later identified as his wife. Dennis Moss, 60, then shot and killed himself. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Dawn Moss, 39, was taken to Cleveland Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
