South Iredell preps - WBTV 3 News, Weather, Sports, and Traffic for Charlotte, NC

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – 2012 should be another great season for Scott Miller's South Iredell Vikings.

It will start on defense where 10 starters return including Linebacker La Chastan Smith, who has already verbally committed to Virginia. He will be joined by All Conference players Julius Bowe, John Bustle, Ethyan Kramm, and Scott Miller.

Only five starters are back on offense but the bulk of that is on the offensive line and that will help new Quarterback Dave King settle into his new role.

Last season--this team's only loss came in the third round of the state playoffs to eventual state champ West Stokes, so South Iredell is ready to settle some unfinished business.
