A known Occupy Charlotte protestor was arrested Sunday after police found drugs and weapon inside his car that was parked in the middle of the road.
Gifford Cordova and Alexandra Elizabeth Evans were arrested when police noticed their car was parked in the middle of the road on the 10500 block of Garrison Road, according to a news release from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
Police searched the car and discovered three firearms and 45 grams of marijuana.
Cordova was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana and resisting a public officer, according to the report.
