IREDELL COUNTY, NC (WBTV) -
Three people are behind bars after a joint undercover investigation by the Rowan, Iredell, and Davie County Sheriff's Offices into the sale of crack cocaine, according to the Rowan County Sheriff's Office.
Joseph Lee Alexander, 32, was arrested on Monday while driving on Jake Alexander Boulevard in Salisbury. He appeared before a judge and was placed under a $25,000 bond.
Deputies say they had been watching Alexander for some time, and that he had sold crack cocaine to an undercover officer on several occasions, including one time at Cool Springs Elementary School on Highway 64 in Iredell county, according to the official release.
Alexander has an extensive criminal record that includes a number of felony drug charges involving cocaine, marijuana, and prescription drugs, according to the Rowan County Sheriff's Office.
While deputies were watching Alexander, they saw him going to and from a house on Mahaley Avenue in Salisbury, and soon identified the home as a distribution point for marijuana.
Deputies searched the home and found marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a stolen hedge trimmer, the release states.
Timothy Scott Randleman, 34, and Yolanda Renee Foster, 35, were both arrested and charged with possess with the intent to distribute marijuana, felonious maintaining a dwelling, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Randleman was also charged with misdemeanor possession of stolen property, according to deputies.
Randleman has a criminal record as well, including assault on a government official, resisting arrest, and burglary charges.
Randleman was placed under a $7,500 bond, and Foster a $2,500 bond.
