CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Much of the country, including the Carolinas will have to endure the heat for another day. While some in the mid-Atlantic will see some relief, cooler temperatures will be far from pleasant, with highs dropping only into the 90s.
Temperatures in much of the East coast and Great Lakes region surpassed the 100 degree mark again Saturday, but Sunday's highs are forecast to remain in the 90s.
However, another round of storms could move through areas still without power from last week's violent storms.
Nearly 10,000 people remain without power in the Baltimore area alone.
