One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.More >>

The goal was to lend a needed assist to some of the visitors in our community.
Shiners who was part of the uptown parade were on the receiving end were on the end of needed relief.
One visitor from Indianapolis said, "We can handle it. It's no big deal.
Holly Wilson is with Charlotte Convention and Visitors Bureau , she's charged the task of these making critical deliveries of water to those bracing the hot temperatures.
"It is very strenuous, "she said. It's important to keep water on a day like today."
