CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Families which include children or adults with special needs face an entirely separate set of challenges when it comes to financial planning and their future.
Ryan Platt, certified special care planner at HF Financial in Charlotte, founded "A Special Needs Plan" to help families navigate this complex world of finances, estate and tax planning and government programs.
Platt visited WBTV News Sunday Morning to talk about the things families need to consider, and he explained the Eighth Annual Disability Awareness Night on July 28 at Knights Stadium.
