CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – The Charlotte Bobcats had a press conference for the three new faces on the roster.
Ben Gordon, traded for Corey Maggette, is excited to hit the court with new player combinations.
Although he's never played with fellow New Yorker and UCONN alumni, Kemba Walker, he thinks he understands his style of play.
President of basketball operation, Rod Higgins, said today is a new day for the Bobcats. The team feels they have a new direction and they're ready to think about the future and forget about the past.
Higgins feels the two draft picks, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (Kentucky) and Jeff Taylor (Vanderbilt), are both guys that can excel in the up-tempo style that the Cats New Head Coach, Mike Dunlap, want to run.
