Tuckaseegee Road back open after water main break

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Charlotte-Mecklenburg utility crews worked through the night after a water main break on Tuckaseegee Road in West Charlotte.

The pipe broke around 9:00 p.m. Saturday near the intersection with Berryhill Road, shutting down that portion of the road.

Karen Whichard, a spokesperson for CMUD, said crews repaired the water main, but road repairs kept Tuckaseegee Road closed between Thrift Road and Camp Greene Street until Sunday afternoon.
