One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.More >>

A Cleveland County man was killed Thursday morning after crashing into a pickup truck then being run over by a tractor trailer.
David Sanchez Brown, 21, of Boiling Springs, was driving his motorcycle up College Avenue toward Shelby when a pickup truck turned left in front of Brown onto Burke Road, according to the NC Highway Patrol.
The driver of the truck, Marvin Hamrick, jumped out and tried to rush over to help Brown but before he could a tractor trailer came down the road and ran over Brown.
Troopers said the tractor trailer driver did not see Brown lying in the roadway because it was still dark outside and could not stop in time.
Troopers say the speed limit on College Avenue is 55 miles per hour and do not believe speed is a factor in the crash.
Hamrick was charged with misdemeanor death by vehicle.
