Fire Seriously Damages East Charlotte Apartment Complex

Be sure to join us starting at 4:30 AM...we have live coverage of breaking news...an apartment complex fire in east Charlotte.  Cam Man Ron Lee is getting details right now.  We know 12 units were affected by the fire that broke out overnight.  No injuries were reported...but there is a lot of damage.

The wildfire in North Carolina's Croatan National Forest is having an impact hundreds of miles away. State workers say the air is unhealthy for sensitive groups in eight nearby counties.  Monitors have found increased pollution as far away as Raleigh.

Detectives in Lancaster County are working to solve the county's 11th murder of the year.  We'll have more details on what happened.

Former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak is reported to be on life support this morning in an Egyptian military hospital after suffering a stroke in prison.

Mecklenburg County's controversial revaluation process was the focus of attention at last night's Board of County Commissioner's meeting...commissioners discussed the possibility of a 2014 revaluation.
