CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -
A repeat offender has been arrested again after he robbed a man Tuesday, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.
On June 12, officers with the Westover Division responded to an armed robbery call in the 3800 block of South Boulevard.
When they arrived at the scene, they were met by a man who said that he had been robbed.
The victim told the officers that the suspect had followed him for a distance on Weona Avenue before showing a weapon and physically taking his wallet, according to a CMPD report.
Then, police say, the victim pointed them towards the suspect, who was just across the street.
Isiah Davis, 23, was arrested a short time later and charged with common law robbery.
According to police, they were able to recover the victim's property and a toy gun that Davis was carrying.
This is Davis' third arrest for robbery in Charlotte since 2006.
