CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Each year thousands of comic book fans fill the Charlotte Convention Center for one of the top events for fans and families.
Heroes Con was founded in 1982 by Shelton Drum, owner of "Heroes Aren't Hard To Find" bookstore.
Now it has a great reputation and according to Drum can boast a superstar guest list thanks to the reputation his event has built over the years.
Fans and exhibitors come from all over the country.
