CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

Charlotte police have arrested three men they say were breaking into vehicles.

Kendall Alford, 19, Eddie Junior Price, 25, and Cameron Antonio Verdell, 18,  were arrested for their involvement in a recent breaking and entering case that occurred in the Steele Creek Division.

On June 5 around 10 p.m. officers responded to a larceny from vehicle call for service in the 1200 block of Lakemist Drive, according to a report from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

The victim was on the phone with a CMPD emergency 911 tele-communicator and stated that he was following the suspects who broke into his vehicle.  Officers responded to the area the caller gave the dispatcher which led them to the Emerald Bay Apartments.

Once on the scene, several neighbors who live in the apartment complex stated they just observed the suspects and gave officers a detailed description and the direction they were traveling in.

Officers were able to locate the suspects a short time later and arrest them without incident.  All three suspects have been charged with breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and larceny.  The three suspect all have extensive criminal histories which include a multitude of property crime arrests in Mecklenburg County.
