CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Most of us have something we collect.
We're getting a closer look at the unique collection of former US Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright. Throughout her career in public service, she collected all types of pins, many of which will be on display in a new exhibit coming to the Mint Museum of Charlotte.
According to the museum there are 200 pieces of jewelry which "span more than a century of jewelry design and fascinating pieces from across the globe."
Kristen Watts, Director of Collections and Exhibitions at the Mint Museum, visited WBTV News Sunday Morning to talk about the pins and how they came to be on display in Charlotte.
The exhibit debuts on June 30th and will still be running when the Democratic National Convention comes to town in September. For more information, click here.
