CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – Three people were shot late Tuesday night, but police said none of the victims are cooperating with the investigation.
The call was made into the 911 dispatch center around 11:30pm of a person suffering from gunshot wounds.
Medics raced to the scene, and found the man. Reports are he was hit twice, once in the torso, the other in the foot.
But that wasn't the extent of the victims.
As Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were on the scene of the shooting on Kennesaw Drive in North Charlotte, two other men showed up at Presbyterian Hospital.
Emergency personnel at Presby called police once they found out both the men that appeared in the emergency room had also been shot. Both victims had been hit in the arm.
The two victims at Presbyterian Hospital have been treated and released. The other victim who was taken to Carolinas Medical Center should also recover.
Police believe all three shootings are related.
However officers said they are encountering roadblock after roadblock in their investigation. Police are frustrated because they said none of the victims are giving up any details about what happened.
Because of the lack of information, the CMPD doesn't know if there is a gunman out there on the loose, or if the victims may have done this to themselves.
No arrests have been reported so far.
