ROCK HILL, SC (WBTV) - It was barely 6 weeks ago when 2 widow's worlds seemed to collide at Highland Park Mill Senior Center in Rock Hill.
Collide might not be the right word, because all David Holmes really did was sit down next to Nell Thomas at the lunch table. "He told me he loved me the first day," said 93-year-old Nell.
David being one year her senior at 94, said he knew there was something special about her from the very beginning. Whenever the two are together, she can't keep from giggling, he can't keep his hands off her.
"It's like something out of Hollywood isn't it?" said Nell about their romance. The two see each other about 3 times a week on their visits to the senior center and talk on the phone every night.
They both say they have no plans to get married and are more than happy just being giddy in love.
