Driver burned beyond recognition in crash on Charlotte interstate

It's Monday, June 4. This is Christine Nelson, starting off the morning sending you a quick email about the stories we're covering on WBTV News This Morning a 4:30 a.m. We're on until 7 a.m. with new stories in our 6 a.m. hour.

First, WBTV's Cam Man Ron Lee is following this deadly crash on 485 in west Charlotte, especially since the interstate had to be shut down for some time. Ron was talking about it in the newsroom saying the car was in flames when he arrived. He talked to witnesses at the scene who told us what they saw moments before the crash. It's information giving authorities clues about what may have caused this crash.

Another twist happened in the Trayvon Martin case in Florida. George Zimmerman is back in jail. In the process of revoking his bond, the judge said Zimmerman and his wife lied. We have the details.

Plus, a woman was shot in the face at a Charlotte apartment complex. Right now police need your help as they continue to gather information on who did this.

And today will begin three days of national mourning for a devastating plane crash where more than 150 people died.

So much to get you caught up on this morning. I have to get going. See you on the air!
