Food Lion Speed Street festival expected to draw 400,000

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Quite possibly the biggest festival of the year is about to get underway in Uptown Charlotte, in celebration of this weekend's Coca Cola 600 at the Speedway.

Food Lion Speed Street kicks off Thursday in Uptown. The event will feature three days of live entertainment on a variety of stages, food, free giveaways and access to some of NASCAR's biggest stars.

The event runs from noon to 11 p.m. and admission is free. For more information, click here or call 704-455-8888.
