A man wanted on federal warrants is back behind bars after police say he held a woman and infant inside a home during a SWAT situation.

According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, officers went to a home along the 4800 block of Kistler Avenue on Monday morning after getting a tip that a wanted man was in the area.

Officers were looking to serve Firearm by Felon and several additional local warrants on Jecorey Fraylon, 27.

Officers attempted to make contact with Fraylon at a home on Kistler Avenue, but were not able to get an answer.

While officers were making preparations to apprehend Fraylon, they received a phone call from the sister of Fraylon's girlfriend.  She told officers that Fraylon was holding her sister and an infant against their will inside the home.

The SWAT Team was activated and responded to the scene, police told WBTV.

After speaking with SWAT negotiators, Fraylon surrendered without further incident.

Officers say the woman and child that were inside the home during the incident were not harmed.
