Another round of severe weather is on the way! Severe Thunderstorm Watches issued this afternoon for all counties in our viewing area. There is concern for high winds, hail, even the potential for a tornado. This round of potentially dangerous weather comes after two tornadoes touched down Monday in Richmond County. Our First Alert Meteorologists are keeping a very close watch on the potential for more severe weather this evening.
Demeatrius Montgomery loses his appeal. Three justices on the North Carolina Court of Appeals refused to overturn Montgomery's conviction in the deaths of officers Sean Clark and Jeff Shelton. The appeal centered on whether or not Montgomery was competent to stand trial when a jury found him guilty. We're getting reaction and finding out what happens next.
Call it a low-jack for your little ones! We're testing a GPS device created by a man who lost his three year old and lived in fear before his child was found!
