STATESVILLE, NC (WBTV) -

A Statesville man was arrested Sunday after police say he used a woman's identity to obtain three credit cards.

Christopher Todd Randall, 45, of Statesville, is charged with three counts of identity theft and three counts of financial card fraud, according to a news release from the Iredell County Sheriff's Office.

A woman contacted deputies when she noticed three credit cards on her credit report that she had never applied for or had knowledge of.

Deputies learned that Randall had been using the three credit cards to make purchases for new furniture and electronics across the county as well as online, according to the report.

Randall was placed under a $5,000 bond for the listed charges.
