Stuck Truck Carrying Corrosive Chemical

Hello again everyone, it's Paul Cameron in the WBTV newsroom. 

Tonight at 5:00PM—another stuck truck and another train that can't stop in time.  But this truck was carrying a corrosive chemical that officials were forced to deal with after the collision.  We're checking to see if it's causing any health concerns. 

How much rain did you get at your house?  The rainfall is welcome news to move us away from the drought, but flooding is a real threat tonight. 

John Edwards' defense team began presenting its case at his trial in Greensboro today.  Will the jury know the difference between a personal gift and a campaign contribution?  That's the issue legal experts say will likely decide Edwards' fate.

What would you do with an extra $45 million?  Mecklenburg County has some big decisions to make about the excess revenue it now finds itself with. 

Plus, the closing of 600 post offices nationwide for cost-cutting reasons is now on hold. We'll tell you why there's been a change of heart at the federal level.
