Tennis star wins unprecedented 4th state title

Charlotte Catholic High School senior, Kyle Johnson, picked up his 4th straight state title in tennis, Saturday afternoon at the Burlington Tennis Center.

Johnson, is the only player to win four consecutive men's singles titles in NCHSAA history, taking the 3A Men's Tennis Championship with a 6-3, 6-4 victory.

The Cougar senior dropped only one set in four years of competition at the regional and state tournament level, and his overall high school career record in singles is an amazing 89 and 7.

Johnson will play college tennis at Depaul next year!
