Wanted Fugitive Captured, Hostages Safe

Hello again friends, it's Paul Cameron in the WBTV newsroom.

Tonight at 11:00PM—this is just now breaking-- Adam Mayes, the man wanted for the murder of a woman and her 14-year old daughter and the kidnapping of the woman's other two young daughters, has been captured in Mississippi.  The two missing girls are safe.  Mayes is dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound according to Union County Sheriff's department.  We're digging for more details.

GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney is against gay marriage, but tonight says he's for gay adoptions.  Romney visits Charlotte tomorrow and I'm scheduled to interview the presumptive nominee.

The FBI wants you to see the video on my Crimestoppers report tonight.  It's surveillance of a robber who shot and wounded an armored truck guard, then stole a big bag of cash.  There's a $20,000 reward posted for information leading to a conviction.

Plus, we found a trend among women—more and more are saying ciao to Chardonnay and prost to Pilsners.  The "Beer Babes" who brew their own suds.
