Thieves attack father and son during jewelry heist

Good morning! It's Friday, May 4. This is Christine Nelson in the newsroom right now sending you an email on the stories we're covering on WBTV News This Morning at 4:30 a.m.

DEVELOPING: This morning a father talks to WBTV about the attack at his jewelry business that injured his son after he was beaten by the thieves. Cam Man Ron Lee is live at the scene.

A mysterious fire leads to the arrest of a woman for the murder of her husband. We first told you about the initial investigation on WBTV News This Morning. We have the rest of the story including an interview with the suspect's daughter.

Plus, more scandal coming out of the John Edwards trial. We know who will take the stand later this morning to reveal how money from a rich heiress was funneled to the Edwards' camp.
