Protest In Uptown Charlotte Today

Protestors are expected in uptown Charlotte today at the Duke Energy building for the company's shareholders meeting.  Police will be on hand...and will be acting under a new ordinance that broadens their control. Cam Man Ron Lee will be live with complete details.

We have video you'll see only on WBTV of a wreck in southeast Charlotte where a car was severed in half.

And more exclusive video...a crash that happened following a chase by state troopers.

We're working to get more details on an overnight a fire in Hickory...one person was found dead, another was injured.

First round action in one of the PGA's biggest golf tournaments gets underway today in south Charlotte...it's the Wells Fargo Championship.  Phil Mickleson and Tiger Woods are among golf's top players who are participating.
