CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Nancy Perri's husband was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor. it's called an oligodendroglioma and required a considerable amount of treatment.
Doctors told her because it's so rare, and considered a "good" kind of tumor to have because it's treatable, there isn't much awareness or funding for it.
Nancy decided to start a foundation to create awareness and help pay to expand clinical trials for a tumor vaccine.
She visited WBTV News Saturday Morning to talk about it. For more information on Operation Oligocure click here.
