LIVE: One dead in violent accident near Wingate

Good Friday morning! It's April 20. This is Christine Nelson going through the rundown right now to tell you the stories we're covering on WBTV News This Morning at 4:30 a.m.

A story that is still breaking in the 4 a.m. hour. Authorities in Wingate are still combing the scene of a deadly car accident. The path the car took before coming to a stop was a violent one. WBTV's Brian Stephenson is on the scene now. He worked his contacts to get more information and will be live with the report.

Plus, this will be all the talk this morning among parents of Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools students. We already got some 'yeah's' and 'nay's' from parents weighing in on the school board's decision to offer Dr. Heath Morrison the all-important superintendent position.
