New treatment for spinal cord injuries

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Technology company Invivo Therapeutics claims it has developed a life-changing and money-saving treatment for spinal cord injuries.

The treatment minimizes tissue damage after an injury by inserting a special device into the area where the spine was injured.

They believe their research shows this improves the chance of walking again.

Company CEO Frank Reynolds visited WBTV News Saturday Morning to talk about the technology.
