CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - It's a foodie paradise.

Share Our Strenth's Taste of the Nation, Charlotte, will be held on April 11, 2012.

Since 1995 the Charlotte event has raised more than a million dollars to fight hunger here at home and in other communities.

This year's event will be held at the Wells Fargo Atrium Uptown and will feature food from more than 30 restaurants.

Chef Ron Ahlert from the Community Culinary School of Charlotte visited WBTV News Sunday Morning to do a little cooking and talk about the event.
