LIVE: Vigil tonight for CMS student killed in accident; CMPD officers, killed in the line of duty, remembered

Good Monday morning! It's April 2. This is Christine Nelson with a quick email to you about the stories we're covering on WBTV News This Morning at 4:30 a.m.

It will be an emotional spring break for friends of a Charlotte high school student killed over the weekend. The car crash he was killed in shutdown the interstate for hours. A live report on the vigil that will be held tonight.

Also, more trouble for the South Carolina man who police say set fire to an apartment with two children inside after getting in a fight with their mother. The children died over the weekend.

Plus, it has been five years since CMPD officers Jeff Shelton and Sean Clark were gunned down in the line of duty. Many have said the two will never be forgotten. We'll tell you how they were remembered over the weekend.
