It's was a tragedy that rocked the Charlotte community when two children were hit by a truck and killed while walking to school with their father. The outcry from the community to have sidewalks on that stretch of road didn't fall on deaf ears. We'll take you to the city council meeting that happened late last night as leaders voted to approve new sidewalks in the area.

We're also looking into a bizarre case out of north Charlotte. A welfare check leads to the discovery of two women found dead in their home. Was there foul play? WBTV's Cam Man Ron Lee is getting that question answered and has the latest details in a live report.

Plus, a possible dog fighting ring discovered in Rock Hill. The sad conditions the dogs were in that has officials thinking they were severely mistreated.
