CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -
The Charleston Police Department is on the lookout for a 28-year-old man wanted for exploitation of a child.
Investigators are searching for Brian Javon Sherald. Sherald is accused of sending a video of a 14 year old engaged in a sex act to the Charleston County School District.
Police say Sherald was trying to get an ex-girlfriend in trouble by claiming the teen in the video was related to her.
According to police, Sherald got the video from the Internet and that the teen is not related to the woman.
Anyone with information on Sherald's whereabouts is asked to call Charleston police at 577-7434 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
