Four teens arrested in robbery, beating of juvenile - | WBTV Charlotte

MONROE, NC (WBTV) - Four teenagers were charged Friday in connection to the robbery of a 14-year-old.

The robbery occurred in the Wingate neighborhood of Piney Grove on March 13, according to a news release from the Union County Sheriff's Office.

The teenager was beaten and robbed of his cell phone and an iPod while walking along Monroe Ansonville Road near Taylor Street.

Chelsey Keeron Shine, 17, Ryan Lee Chambers, 17, and Steven Rashad Roland, 18, are all charged with common law robbery and felony conspiracy, according to the release.

Derrick Deshun Brace, 18, was also arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to a felony, possession of stolen goods and obtaining property by false pretenses.
