CLERMONT COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -
The US Small Business Administration has approved Governor John Kasich's request for assistance in Clermont County.
The approval comes days after the president denied federal aid to storm-battered area. Brown, Clinton, Hamilton and Warren counties also will have access to aid.
This means victims of the March 2 storms can apply for low-interest loans with the SBA. Interest rates can be found here.
For those in Clermont and Brown counties not eligible for an SBA loan, or for those who have additional needs not covered by the SBA loan, representatives from the Ohio Individual Assistance (IA) program will be on hand to discuss the state program. It provides help to uninsured homeowners and renters for eligible real property, personal property damages, and uninsured funeral expenses.
The Moscow Disaster Loan Outreach Center will be open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, March 16; from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 17; closed Sunday; open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday (March 19 through March 22).
Victims have until May 14th to apply for a Physical Damage loan, and until December 13 to apply for an Economic Injury loan.
You can either apply for a loan electronically or by printing out a form that can be found here. Completed loan applications can be submitted to:
US Small Business Administration Process and Disbursement Center 14925 Kingsport Road Fort Worth, TX 76155
